Now comes the real test.

We have come through the first batch of games that we all thought we’re going to be a disastrous start to the season. Now we have three games against supposed easier teams. Teams that we should win. This is now the real test. We are well known for underperforming against lesser teams. Now we will see if we have improved and pick up points.

To win against teams that are deemed to be ones where we are expected to get a result we need to play attacking football, but we all know under Moyes that won’t happen.

I would go Yarmalenko upfront over Benrahma, he has got what 6 inches (at least ?) on the Algerian and had played there in various situations. Either way we will have play a different way something beyond the counter.
Benrahma should play, who misses out though.

Yarmalenko looked a lot better than Haller in the central position but still ended up as he does by conceding possession for their 2nd.
But yes someone other than Haller. Maybe my old telly or eyes but Benrahma looked a lot stockier than I thought ? Which means low centre of gravity and ability to hold the ball. I suspect we would still see The General launching ale house balls up to Benrahma if he was up top. Could he be a kind of Aguero type ? I can dream I suppose 😉

it may not work, but moyes should try benrahma up top. he's a good finisher & surely he'd provide more movement than haller

Has to be a minimum of 7 points from these 3 games. Always respect your oppo but we need to win these games if this Moyes bandwagon is for real.

it's difficult to change system or tactics when the dwarf cunt owner has left the manager with just one fit striker and injured converted winger

I think we need different tactics against the teams who are less effective up front.
Need to use the creative players more or push up Soucek to get in the box. I think we have a formation which worked ok against teams that attack with fast passing football but those weaker sides that sit back and counter we need more from skill players - Benrahma, Yarmalenko or even Lanzini may have more impact and even Haller if we can support, put the ball in the box and pin teams back.
All depends on Moyes and whether he just keeps doing the same thing with late subs to change it or is bolder and develops tactics using different players to break these sides down and keep team fresh.

Haller shouldn't even be on the bench he's an utter disgrace and don't tell me it's because he's up front all on his own he doesn't show any enthusiasm and when he has scored he's so arrogant !!
